Here is a case I completed earlier this year:
The patient presented with a localized 7mm periodontal pocket at the mid-buccal of tooth 24. Endo, post, core and crown were performed many years ago. A vertical root fracture was suspected, which resulted in the partial loss of the buccal plate of bone.
The tooth was atraumatically extracted and vertical fracture was confirmed. The root was also short.
